Larry Lievense Obituary
He was born on September 21, 1945 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Harold and Nella (Weller) Lievense.
Larry served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He served from 1966 to 1969.
On April 15, 1978, he married Mary Ellen "Phred" Whitinger in South Bend, IN. She preceded him in death on August 10, 2023.
Larry was a truck driver for Preston Trucking and had previously worked for Steel Warehouse. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, reading, classic cars, and cooking.
Surviving are his son, Nick (Amanda) Lievense of Lafayette and his grandchildren, Sydney and Natalie Lievense.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Norman Kent Lievense.
