Larry was the son of my brother Jacob. What a joy to have Larry show up from time to time here at my home in Ottumwa. We talked and talked about old times. So long old friend until we meet again.

My brother, Elmer Swope and Larry were very good friends. I remember Larry from all the times he came over to visit my brother.
I had been out of contact with Larry from when I was a teenager until just about a month ago when out of the blue he called me and we talked for some time and agreed to meet sometime for some coffee and to reminisce about old times.
We never got the opportunity.
My thoughts and prayers go out to those that loved him.

I have not seen Larry since abt. 1957 or so. He used to come to our house and play with my sister Helen Lanigan. His dad was a friend of my father James Lanigan and we lived at 3631 Homestead in Davenport. Please do contact me as I would like to converse with the family. Can you tell me exactly where he will be buried? I remember his big round glasses also. Take care in knowing that he was loved by many.
