Larry Regan

I am the Nephew of former NHL Hockey Player Metro Prystai.
I saw Mr. Regan's passing in the Sports Illustrated Magazine.
I have contacted Metro and like myself we would like to extend our condolences to the Regan Family.
Not only is Metro Prystai my Godfather but I was also born on August 9 but in 1953.

Deepest Sympathy to Pauline and members of the Regan Family. Our thoughts are with you in the loss of your dear friend. Sorry that I cannot attend the celebration of his life of which Larry contributed so much and left us with so many memories. May he rest in peace.

I will never forget, as a child walking down into the Regan basement and seeing all the Hockey legends hanging on the walls. Larry was always quick to answer a question or tell a story. He was a legend too but for a lot of different reasons. Pauline our thoughts and prayers go out to you.

We will always remember providing Larry with his annual stipend from playing Gin Rummy.

It's been a long time since I last saw you. I am so sad to hear of your Larry's passing. Such a great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of grief and always.

I knew Larry many, many years ago and renewed our acquaintance at the Swiss Pastry with some of his buddies. Larry was always the nicest guy and he will be dearly missed by everyone that he touched.

I was so sorry to read that Larry had died. My memories of him go back to the days we were growing up in Center Town and later when Larry was head of the Hockey Oldtimers. Larry was a very generous person who helped me on numerous occasions. My sincere sympathy to all.

As a member of the Terry Fox Humanitarian Award Board, I had the privilege to meet Larry. I deeply appreciated his generosity and involvement for the cause. I will miss his friendship.

Larry hired me at Canadian Oldtimers Hockey Association to work on the "Relive The Dream" series and then full time to work with the Players Association when it first started up. I have some wonderful memories of my time with COHA /CARHA.

Pauline, I am sorry to hear about Larry's passing.
When I think of Larry I remember him talking about his Paulie with such love in his voice and that special smile.

Sad to hear of Larrys' passing. Have fond memories of Larry at Ottawa Tech and the occasional breakfast on Saturday morning with his lovely wife at the Newport. Larry will be sadly missed by all who knew him. I regret that I will not be able gto attend his celebration of life or funeral as I am in Florida.
