Larry Rytlewski

Larry J. Rytlewski, 71, passed away on December 1st, 2012 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, following a brief illness. Larry was born on January 17, 1941 in Bay County, MI to the late John and Jennie (Gerulski) Rytlewski. He married Lois Landosky on September 21, 1963. Larry has been a lifetime member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church. He served in the US Army from 1960 thru 1962. He was a member of the Columbian Club and the Msgr Eugene A Forbes Knights of Columbus #3590. Larry enjoyed gardening, playing cards and golf with his friends. His biggest enjoyment came from attending the events of his six grandchildren. Larry retired as a Sheet Metal Worker from Local 7. Larry is survived by his wife Lois of 49 years, son Vaughn (Renee) Rytlewski, daughter Julie (Rob) Rytlewski and son John (Jill) Rytlewski and grandchildren Kaysie, Kristie, Jayson, Brandon, Ryan and Zachary. He is also survived by his sisters Delores (John) Berent and Roseann (Tom) Lambert, a brother-in-law Gerald (Norma) Landosky and sister-in-law Sharon (Robert) Guoan and his nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents John and Jenny Rytlewski and his in-laws Oscar and Leona Landosky. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 am Monday December 3, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church (11 Mile and Midland Rds.) Fisherville. Rev. Fr. Thomas E. Sutton will officiate with military committal rites accorded by the Bay Area Veterans Council to follow in St. Anthony Cemetery (Fisherville.) Larry's family will receive friends at the Auburn Chapel of the Cunningham-Taylor Funeral Homes, Inc. Sunday December 2nd from 2:00 - 8:00 pm. A vigil service for Larry will be held at 7:00 pm. Sunday evening at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Anthony/St Joseph Parish, The Toni and Trish House, The Michigan Stroke Association or family wishes.
