Larry Sharpe Obituary
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty, officiated by Pastor Dave Winstead; the burial will be following the service at Sharpe-Covington Family Cemetery in Liberty. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Loflin Funeral Home and after the burial at the home of Faye Covington, 5825 Kimesville Road, Liberty.
Larry was the son of the late Carl Lynn and Addie Winstead Sharpe and was also preceded in death by brothers, Raymond Sharpe, James Sharpe, and Michael Paul Sharpe.
He is survived by his daughter, Addie Sharpe; son, Shane Sharpe; grandson, Joshua Scott; sister, Faye Covington; and brothers, Roy Sharpe, Carl Sharpe, and William Sharpe.
Larry enjoyed serving his community for many years with the Alamance County Rescue, and was a mechanical contractor for Quality Mechanical.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell County, 914 Chapel Hill Rd, Burlington, NC 27215.
