Larry Thompson Sr. Obituary
He is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Rosa Margaret Waldrep Thompson; his son, Tee Thompson (Lizabeth) of Hartsville, SC; and his daughter, Meg Thompson Black (Lance) of Pickens, SC. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Hunter Thompson of Charleston, SC, and Laura Kate Thompson of Hartsville, SC; step-grandchildren, Sabrina Morgan (Landon) and Makayla Brake (Nick); and step great-grandson, Shiloh Brake, all of Pickens, SC. Additionally, he is survived by his sister, Mary Ann Burroughs, of Laurens, SC.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, Laurens, SC, on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. Visitation will take place at the church prior to the service, beginning at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to First Baptist Church, Laurens.
Palmetto Cremation Service is assisting the family at this time.
