To the family , I send my love and prayers & a poem.
He Only Takes the Best
God saw that he was getting tired,
A cure was not to be.
So He put His arms around him
and whispered, "Come with Me."
With tearful eyes, we watched him suffer,
And saw him fade away.
Although we loved him dearly,
We could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes "the best".

Dear larry bird you will truly be missed around my house him walking my dog to cutting my grass to checking on me when jay wasn't around. I'm sorry I didn't see you in your final days as I was confident you would be walking through my door again. You have a beautiful heart and positive spirit that I can only hope rubbed off on jay over thetime you spent together. You and kendrell were jays best friends and I hope you continue looking out for him in death as you did in life as he stands alone. I wish peace and comfort to big larry your mom and your sister. I pay they find strength in positive memories you left behind

Family, this is a very difficult time for us. Prayer, faith and memories(you gotta see video of Pooh dancing and singing on facebook while sick mind you) will get us through. The amount of love family and friends showed Pooh and each other will never be forgotten. He fought a good fight to the very end. I miss my nephew sooo much, but knowing he's in a better place is comforting. We must take one day at a time-minutes turn into hours, hours turn into days, days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months and months turn into years...He lives on in our hearts.. May God grant us the strength we need to go on without Pooh...RIP nephew

I pray that the love of God comforts Larry's family and friends. When I was in the presence of Larry a few times at People's Community Church,I sensed that he was special. Larry was so brave and seemed so much at peace. His life touched many. The world is a better place because him. May the grace and peace of God forever be with his family and friends.

To My family & especially Butchie, Nita & her family:

Words cant express the pain our families will share with the loss of Pooh. However he was chosen. To us the timing may hav been too soon but we cannot question the lords chosen angels..Pooh is a true soldier for he has dealt with this better then most of us would ever have including myself. To lose a parent is tragic but to lose a child makes me speechless beyond words. Butchie and Nita.....the strength and courage that you both have shown throughout this ordeal is truly remarkable he couldn't have had better parents to go thru this with..may the lord watch over us and may his memories live on forever..R.I.P. Pooh and say hello to grand-pop for all of us....your FREE now!!

To the whole family
"The light of God surrounds us.
The love of God envelops us.
The power of God protects us.
The presence of God watches over us."

May you know that God is watching over you the family now. May his presence and peace keep you and his love surround you.

Pooh no matter what you were always the most loving and kind person to everyone. You smiled even when you wanted to cry, encouraged even when you were sad.
I thank you for being part of my life and for loving me and my sons.
We will miss you rest now until we meet again.

Love you Pooh.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

To The Wade Family,

It is hard to express how sorrowful I am to hear about the passing of "Pooh", but I know that all of the pain he was going through is gone. May God continue to wrap his arms of comfort and love around each and everyone of you and may his strength give you peace and endurance you will need.

God Bless you all!!

;-( R.I.P Brother )-;  You was like my brother from another mother. 6years of knowing you an it felt like lifetime of a long-term friendship. I remember like it was yesterday!!
At front street McDonald's ;-) yeah.... I know that job was the funnies! An close friends that work there that made it funny , inviting , loving work place! Like
Kendrell Washington  A peaceful soul (r.i.p) !!an everybody else  You know Who you are! Mcds
But the Time I had spend thinking
to myself is that I kept beating myself up for the times we didn't spend,do,say an finding bad things on why? Yeah, we all wish that we could have or should have done something different etc. right? Fears to be if you let it ...  Life is life an sometime it doesn't seem like its always right! But to me that's what life is (unknown).
To make the best out of it and to do right as is are will by the father he gave us.. Live with the good things that you have .
Like the good times !!! Yeah the good times with Larry, is ThE TALKS !! I don't know if you notice but I like too talk and write! I talk his ears off ;-) about the importance of life, family, etc
But no He would always listen he
Was very open-minded about everything but life never put a judgment! Free soul ! We would chill and talk !!  I know I know I'm almost done !!  I know Larry is laughing right now lol .....
The last things we talk about was!! Remember? I know you do . (Larry ).
Life is what you make of it . An the bad stuff that you are going thru don't let it run you .....  You run it  you can do this etc.
All I have to say is that  YOU WON YOU WON !!!!!!!
Because you didn't let it get the best of you even when you wasn't feeling your best !  You kept on going.....    I'm going to let you go
To be FREE
Oh oh yeah!!!   When I see you again brother we need to talk
For lost times lol.

I have mad love and respect for you !  Larry wade 111

Pooh,
You taught me the true definition of strength. You showed me what Real courage is. I'm 10yrs older than you, but probably only have half your heart. I would consider myself blessed if my son grows up to be as strong and as brave as you have been. And though you may be gone in the flesh, ANGELS never die. God bless you, and your entire family.

Family,

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
