Holland - Larry Wiersma, age 84 of Holland, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at home. The son of Joe & Dorothy Wiersma, he was born on March 14, 1941 in Holland.

Larry Wiersma was co-owner & retired from Wiersma's Central Park after a cumulative 27 years. He also worked for other major grocery suppliers and distributors. He was a volunteer fireman at Central Park Station # 3 for 37 years & a member of Central Wesleyan Church. He was a Trustee & board member there, frequently directed traffic for services, faithful at the men's 6 AM prayer group, was active volunteering with Crossroads Unemployment Ministry & Celebrate Recovery. Larry loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He imparted a love for the outdoors to his children & grandchildren, and included them on many outings.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Max; and sister Lynda. Surviving is his wife, Lynn of 62 years; children, Mike, Steve, Shelly (Phil), & Jennifer (Keith); 10 grandchildren; & 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation is from 1:30-3pm on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Central Wesleyan Church, 446 W 40th St, Holland, MI 49423. A memorial service will immediately follow at 3 PM.
