LaTasha was a beautiful person inside and out. As many noted, she had a infectious smile, a heart of gold and a beautiful soul overall. I can't recall the last time I seen her but seeing that smile as I scrolled on Facebook would give me the motivation to do better and find my purpose. LaTasha definitely knew her purpose and was fulfilling it everyday, which was to serve the Lord. Rest peacefully, Lord knows I wanted to be there today. My condolences to the family, friends and a host of others LaTasha touched indirectly. The heavens have truly gained one extraordinary angel.

I still keep saying this isn't real but unfortunately it is. I've know LaTasha since I was five years old, we've been close friends every since. From kindergarten, middle school, high school, and even worked together for years after. She was the type of person that was always there for you regardless of her issues she dealt with. She was there to lift you up or keep you up. Even when she was down she always carried a beautiful contagious smile that lit up a room and you couldn't help but laugh and smile around her. She was not only beautiful (jazzy as she would say) on the outside but she was beautifully amazing on the inside as well. Oh and that voice!! I remember back in school she would sing all the time... SWV "weak" she'd sing it all the time though the halls. She will definitely be missed more than words can say. The only thing that brings me peace is knowing that she is rejoicing with her mom who she missed so much. Rest in heaven my beautiful BFFK (Best Friend from Kindergarten).

Ms. LaTasha, you were always a bright star. I was truly blessed to have known you, if only for the brief time we worked together. You will be sorely missed. Your memory cherished. The Lord has you in his arms and has welcomed you home.
