LAURA CRANDALL BROWN

BROWN, LAURA CRANDALL May 2, 1984 - December 14, 2009 Our beloved daughter, wife, sister and friend passed away peacefully with family and friends by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Laura never gave up the fight and kept a positive and upbeat spirit throughout the entire journey. Her faith and courage was sustained by the outpouring of love and support from so many. Laura was a graduate of Auburn University and was a Conference Services Manager at the Hotel at Auburn University. Laura is survived by her loving husband, Walter of Opelika, parents Jim and Cecilia (Majerik) Crandall of Birmingham and sister Emma . The celebration of Laura's life will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at Saint Patrick's Catholic Church, 301 Shamrock Trail, Adamsville, AL. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2:00pm with the Mass of the Resurrection beginning at 2:00. Fathers Henry McDaid and Vernon Huguley will be celebrants. Anderson Cancer Center, Post Office Box 4486, Houston, Texas, 77210-4486 Please ask that this donation be designated for the Clinical Center for Targeted Therapy (Phase I Clinic) Laura also said that for those that could not give to please consider donating blood or plasma in her memory. Laura had many transfusions over the course of her treatment through the generosity of others. Alabama Funeral Homes & Cremation Centers of Dadeville, AL are in charge of the arrangements.
