Laura was an inspiration to us all at Wade Weissmann Architecture. She possessed a spirit that met every challenge and opportunity with unequalled selfless enthusiasm and positivity. Her leadership, talent and work ethic were outmatched only by her kind heart. She has been missed greatly over these difficult 13 months and always will be. We loved her immensely.

Maureen and family of your beloved Laura,
Words will not come close to adequately state my empathy for all of you in this most sad and difficult time. Losing a daughter, wife, mother, sister and niece of one so vibrant, talented and with so much hope and promise is deeply troubling in mind snd heart. I can offer you my prayer that Jesus who wept at his friends death and weeps with you hold you close and His Risen Grace will give you comfort and hope. I will light a candle and offer Mass today for Laura (December9). Mary Our Lady of Notre Dame whose only son died hold your grief and pain.
Sincerely in Notre Dame,
Rev.Jim Bracke csc

My condolences to the entire family. Laura played volleyball with my daughter (Ashley Tarutis Davis) at Notre Dame. Laura always had a big happy smile on her face whenever I spent time with the team. She was always so nice to me and my daughter loved her as a teammate. I am so sorry for your loss.

My deepest condolences to Brendan, Ben, Teddy and the entire Bush and Bresnahan families. I knew Laura to be one of the kindest, most caring and talented humans I have ever known during her time at Notre Dame. And I have no doubt that she was an incredible wife and mother who will be sorely missed every day but never forgotten and that she will continue to shine love upon her family from heaven.

Laura was the most thoughtful, kind and positive person I have ever met. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to get to know her over the past 6 years. I am so very saddened by her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Brendan, Ben, Teddy and their entire family. Heaven gained a very special angel. My deepest sympathy to all.

Laura,
You were a tenacious powerhouse on and off the court! You made me a better coach and challenged me to the core. I appreciated and loved you on every level. You left us too early but I know you went out swinging. You were fierce and always stood out in a crowd. Uber smart and competitive are synonymous with your name. Fly high sweet girl. It’s not goodbye but see you later. Prayers for your family and all your friends. God sure got a good one!
Love Always,
Coach Georges 2000-2004
