Laura Imbordino Obituary
Laura was preceded in death by her father and survived by her mother and sisters Mary (Dickie), Linda (John), and Patty (Frank). Laura is survived by her former spouse Ron Sr, and was the loving mother of Ron (Lisa), Paul (Katie), and Mark (Seth). She was the adored grandmother to Ronnie and Ella. Laura was blessed to have Frank as her best friend and partner in the last several years.
Laura was larger than life and the eternal optimist. She was warm, empathic, loving, quick to laugh, and adored her family immensely. She was an amazing hostess who loved to cook delicious meals and desserts for every holiday and special occasion. Laura was an incredible grandmother; she would not hesitate to go zip lining, tubing, or swimming with her grandson and would also knit hats and bake cookies. Laura's entrepreneurial spirit was evident in her passion for real estate; buying, selling, renovating, and getting new ideas from HGTV. She enjoyed being outdoors, on her boat, or sharing a simple meal on the balcony with friends.
Laura will be dearly missed by so many and will be remembered with the utmost love.
A celebration of life luncheon and gathering for family and friends will be held at Michelina's Restaurant, 1835 SE Federal Highway, Stuart, FL on Thursday February 16, 2022, from 12:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.

On what would have been Laura´s 70th birthday, I would like to share some additional praise to the many wonderful characteristics others have mentioned. I always admired Laura and credit her as instrumental in developing Maryknoll into a close knit community. In particular, the monthly rotating dinner club she organized brought together neighbors from different streets and cul de sacs, who likely would never have met one another. These fun dinners led to many lifelong friendships and allowed the husbands (who weren´t home as often) to become acquainted. Stemming from these dinners, 20 or more golfers played in rotating golf foursomes at the Village Links for years. Laura also created a neighborhood babysitting co-op that gave stay-at-home moms a little freedom and enhanced the friendships of the moms and kids. Laura, you made the world a better place.
