Laura Anna Jumper

Laura Anna Jumper, 83, of Fort Smith, passed away Friday, June 15, 2012, in Fort Smith. She was born May 6, 1929 in Waco, TX. Laura loved and cherished her husband, three boys, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all of her many, many friends. She was an active member of the Jaycettes in Odessa Texas and owned Neal's Health SPA for Women in Odessa TX in her younger years. She moved to Fort Smith in 1996 to be near her grandkids. In Fort Smith, she become an active member of Victory Temple Church. Laura was always happy and the life of the party. She loved to shop, cook, decorate and dance. Our fond memories of Laura include lots of laughter great times and she was world famous for her chocolate pies and Thanksgiving dressing.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, June 18, 2012, at Victory Temple Church with burial at Roselawn Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Kenneth; her three boys, Ronnie Jumper of Midland Texas, Ricky Jumper of Austin, Ken and wife Liz Jumper of Fort Smith;. brother in law Arlen Jumper and his wife Celete of Florida; seven Grandchildren, Melinda, Susie, Travis, Austin, Alex and Madelyn Jumper and Meredith Ketter; five Great-grandchildren, Savanna, Jake, Christian, Sammy and Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents,Walter and Elsie Kagler.
Pallbearers will be: Austin, Alex and Travis Jumper, Derek Thomas, Del Williams, and J.R. Ketter. Honorary Pallbearers are: Jean and Archie Stafford., Mary Jo Sergent, Phyllis Roberts and The Prime Timers of Victory Temple
The family will visit with friends Sunday, June 17, 2012, at 2112 South 88th from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM.
