A true Christ follower who exemplified her faith in both her words and her actions. She deeply loved the Lord. Quoted scripture and watched various pastors on television. Her MAC (nontuberculous mycobacterial pulmonary disease) kept her from attending church (Valley Christian Fellowship) and other gatherings over her last eight years of life, which was so challenging for her as she loved community.
Her passions were both Mahjong and cards. She had a great circle of friends to play these week in and week out! In her younger years she was an avid golfer, tennis player, and bowler. Very much the natural athlete.
Her "happy place" was always the beach and she was a collector of lighthouse figurines.
Services to be held at Riverside National Cemetery on September 9th at 10:30. Reception to follow.
