Laura Diane Murrill passed away peacefully on April 4, 2024, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, just two days shy of her 35th birthday. Born and raised in Colorado Springs, Laura's life was a vibrant tapestry of faith, family, creativity, and service to others.

A devoted wife to Jonny and loving mother to her sons Maverick and Walker, Laura's heart beat strongest for her family. She was the cherished daughter of Bill and Debra and the beloved sister of Sarah, Jessica, Daniel, David, and Matthew. Her life was also shaped by the memory of those who went before her-her father Larry and grandparents Nick and Diana, Arnold and Barbara-whose legacies she carried forward with grace.

Professionally, Laura found joy and purpose as a talented barber at Roosters in Colorado Springs. With scissors in hand and a warm smile on her face, she groomed men from all walks of life-not just shaping their hair but often listening to their stories and sharing them with loved ones. Her chair became a place of connection and comfort. Beyond the barbershop, she served as a guide for young students at The Great American Outpost school, where her passion for mentorship shone brightly.

Laura's creative spirit knew no bounds. Laura had a deep love for music of all kinds but especially Christian music that echoed her unwavering faith. A devout Christian woman immersed in the light of Jesus Christ, Laura studied the Bible with dedication and lived each day grounded in spiritual purpose.

Her entrepreneurial drive led her to create The Patriette page-a platform celebrating conservative values and constitutional principles-and she was in the process of launching a Christian conservative clothing and design line that reflected both her beliefs and artistic flair.

Laura, an amazing mother, daughter, sister, wife and friend. She radiated love through every role she held. Her strength during her cancer journey was matched only by her serenity; even in her final days she smiled at small joys-like watching Maverick and Walker show off their Easter baskets-and brought comfort to those around her with quiet courage.

A celebration of Laura's life took place in Colorado Springs following her passing. In honoring her wishes, loved ones gathered not in sorrow but in gratitude for the time they shared with someone so full of light.

May Laura's memory bring peace to all who knew her. Her faith never wavered; she knew where she was going-and she was not afraid.
