Laura and I worked together at AT&T on the same team. Although I did not know her very well because we were in two different locations, she was always nice and courteous. Last year we participated in the AT&T Hackathon and had the best time going back and forth laughing about our challenges that we couldn't complete. I am very sorry to hear of her passing, which was truly a shock to our team. My deepest condolences to the family and my God grant you peace during this trying time.

Laurel was one of my closest friends in college. We started at UTD and were members of the 2011 Terry scholars. We lived together and we were orientation leaders together. She was such a sweet person and she always had a smile on her face and something nice to say. She was intelligent, funny, and the most caring and thoughtful friend. I have so many wonderful memories with Laurel and I'm so thankful to the Lord that she was part of my life. I pray the Lord would comfort her friends and family and gain all of our hearts through this tragic loss. Love you, Laurel!

Laurel was such a sweet friend to my daughters Christina and Bethie when they attended Kohlberg Elementary together. We were just looking at our photo album a few days ago where Laurel is in our birthday party and our back-to-school pictures. Our family is deeply saddened to hear of her passing. We will always remember Laurel as as a family friend who will be missed dearly..... Our sincere condolences to the Mohrman Family.....

I worked with Laurel at AT&T. She was extremely sharp, detailed oriented, proactive and above all helpful. I was fortunate to even get to met her person (even though I work in Atlanta) and she was equally beautiful, friendly, and funny. I am stunned and saddened to hear of her passing. My deepest condolences to her family and friends.

I haven't spoken with Laurel in recent years but I wanted to share how her life touched me. I had just moved from Austin to El Paso my junior year of high school. I was already extremely shy and had a hard time fitting in, but it was even harder at a new school. Laurel was one of the only people who reached out to me and got to know me. We became friends. She made me feel like I mattered and like I wasnt just the weird kid. I still remember her laugh. She truly lit up the room and was the life of any social situation. Her impact will live on forever. I'm thankful to have had the honor of knowing her, even for a short time.

She was an amazing young lady. I worked at Hornedo while she was there. I had the opportunity
of getting to know her. Very sad for the family.
