Lauren Vicky Farber

Today, I came across the letter that I had received from our pediatrician's office with regards to the passing of Dr. Farber. Dr. Farber was my son's pediatrician. Being a first-time mom and then a mom to a preemie who was born 10 weeks early, I will always be thankful for Dr. Farber's honest, caring and loving advice that she shared. There were many times that I had self doubt about what to do for my boys, but Dr. Farber was always there with encouragement! I always smile when I think of her and am thankful to have had her in our lives. Her passing is a tremendous loss to the pediatric community as a whole. God Bless You and the lives that you have touched! XO!

Our dear pediatrician, we will always miss you. My children loved your tender ways and your kindness. David remembers last year when he went for his check up and you liked his Christmas underpants! And Sofia said she will always remember how you were always impressed with her activities and outfits! We will miss you forever but no doubt we will meet again. Thanks for the care you gave my children.

We are very sad to hear of Lauren's passing. I got to know Lauren at the Perrin Park dog run a couple of years ago and found her to be a smart, positive and happy person. All through her illness I never knew her to be any different. She is sorely missed.

We are saddened to learn of Dr. Farber's passing. We were neighbors on Luciani Road when Dr. Lauren Farber lived in Woodbridge, CT. She was a beautiful, spirited, and bright child. May she be a blessing for her husband, children, mother, father, and brother. May they be comforted among the mourners of Israel.

Dr Farber became my children's pediatrician at the Milford office. She had a kind and gentle nature. I will forever miss her wonderful smile. My thoughts and prayers to her husband, children and parents. May she rest in peace.

I received a letter from Holliston Pediatrics this week with the news of Dr. Farber's passing. I'm deeply saddened over her passing. She was my daughter's pediatrician for the last 17 years. Dr. Farber had a lasting effect on myself and my daughter. Dr. Farber's energy for life was contagious and palpable. I am truly affected by her passing and want to send my thoughts and prayers out to her family during this difficlt period of mourning. So so sorry for your loss. It is felt by all those whose lives she touched.

My daughter and I are sending our deepest condolences to Dr. Farber's family, her friends, and her colleagues at Holliston Pediatrics. I know how the loss of this amazing person will leave an empty spot in your hearts. I wish you all peace in the days to follow. As for Dr. Farber, I pray she is dancing and free. God bless.

Dr. Farber was my daughters pediatrician. She had just started at Holliston Peds when I met her. I was 6 months pregnant and wanted to sit down with a peditrician before I chose one. She gladly sat down with me for a half hour . She talked about her own children and made me feel comfortable. I was ecstatic to find such a kind person to become the kids doctor. We were lucky enough to see her for the last time in March. 2013. My husband and I both went to the appointment for both girls and sat and chatted with her about work, life and of course the kids. She was so kind , funny and personable. We hope the memories give comfort to her family and friends

Dr. Farber was my daughter's pediatrician and I truly considered her a friend. She will be dearly missed and thought of often. I will always remember her smile and how it could light up the room. Sending thoughts and prayers to her family at this difficult time.

Dr. Farber was my pediatrician, and was very supportive when she learned I am studying to become a doctor. Definitely the best doctor I've ever had. Rest in peace.

Dr. Farber was my daughters' pediatrician. She was a wonderful person and doctor and I am very sad to learn of her passing. My thoughts are with her family during this very difficult time.

Dr. Farber was my boy's doctor for many years. We just learned of her passing. We wish her and her family peace.

Dr. Farber was our son's pediatrician. She was there for us since day one when he got sick. She was there for us 24/7 no matter what the issue was. I remember when she 1st took some time off we would talk once a week to check up on her and on my son. Getting the news this morning broke my heart. When telling my son that his best friend had passed was the hardest thing to do.
We are truly sorry to have missed the funeral arrangements.
You will always live in our hearts and prayers.

I can't even begin to find words to describe the sadness and loss Lauren's family feels. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. In her much too short lifetime, Lauren gave so much to this world. How fortunate were those who knew her and benefited from her great gifts and talents.

So sad to hear of Lauren's passing. We were friends from the Perrin Park, and walked our dogs together in the last several years. What a lovely and accomplished person! I have missed her this Fall during her acute illness. My heart goes out to you all, her husband, children, and extended family in this time of such immeasurable loss.

Sending our condolences and prayers for your family. Lauren was my kid's pediatrician and we all absolutely adored her. She was ALWAYS concerned and interested in what the kids were doing and how they were feeling at each checkup. She took her time with us, made us feel comfortable, always followed through and always listened and respected our thoughts and feelings. Though we did not see her often, she made it a point to get to know the kid's and showed genuine interest in them and our family.
