Dr. Goodloe is the most intelligent, passionate, supporter of nurses I've ever known. I am so blessed to have had her time and input academically, professionally and personally. She enters my mind regularly as I navigate my own Nursing career in what I strive to extend to fellow nurses I connect with each and every day. God Bless.

I am saddened to find out about the passing of Lauren. Just last weekend I was home cleaning out my parents house and came across the newspaper article and graduation pictures from St. Luke's School of Nursing. Lauren and I were in nursing school together. She was brilliant and one of the survivors in our class to make it until the end. I later saw her at a VONE conference and we were able to catch up on life. I was not aware she had been ill and was shocked to read about our nursing professions loss in Virginia Nurse's today. She is an angel now watching over all of us. She is one of the "good" ones. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
