Lauren was my teen idol...he was a lifetime friend and I so respected his knowledge of his chosen business, farming, and his generosity in life. He was most thoughtful and kind...and I miss him! He will live on in our family for all the fun stories we can share about him. Blessings to his family...Landis...you are always a part of our family! We love you and Arlene! Our homes are always open to both of you. Blessings galore, Lori Mitchell (Lorrene & Larry Burkland too!)

We are deeply saddened by the loss of Lauren, a great friend.
I, Norris, remember all the good times we shared while growing up together as neighbors on the farms. Lauren, you were like a brother to me. You will be deeply missed, but always remembered, until we meet again.
With love and deepest sympathy,

I am glad I got to visit with Lauren at our 50th School Reunion. We had a good time and I have very good memories of him. He will be missed.
