Dr. Laurence Abrams, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist, was born in Boston, Massachusetts on the 30th of June 1937, to Aaron and Jeanette Shea Abrams, and passed away in Houston, on Thursday, the 16th of November 2021. He was 84 years of age.
A memorial service is to be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 20th of December, in the Sanctuary of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive in Houston,
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent sanctuary lobby.
In lieu of customary remembrances, and for those desiring, the family requests with gratitude that memorial contributions in his name be directed to Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive, Houston, TX, 77024; in honor of their father, his children have established a scholarship program for clinical psychology PhD candidates at the University of Texas, Department of Clinical Psychology, http://links.utexas.edu/cwgvusi; or to the charity of one's choice.
