Dear Larry, one of the finest gentlemen Don and I ever knew. I never imagined that my darling Don would be followed so soon by one of his dearest friends. Richard and
I think of them singing together in the Lord's Heavenly choir. Or that Jane and I would share the awful grief that engulfs at the realisation that we face a world that no longer has our life partner in it. No one to share special things with. Dear Larry, you will be surely missed not only as a Gentleman, but a sportsman in every way . In the earlier days of the Nobs ...you were "Mr Organiser" we sure could not have done without you ....you were our leader and inspiration.

Larry was a dear friend but to me he was more like a favourite uncle and I miss him. He introduced me to the Rugby community in Halton and inspired me with his humour, wisdom and constant enthusiasm for life, He even reminded me why Liverpool FC was the only English Football worth supporting. God Bless you Larry you were a great man and an even better friend. Those of us whose lives you touched are much the richer for it. RIP -Your friend Desmond

Larry was one of the finest people we ever met, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, chorister, rugby player. Genuine person with no mean bones in his body. We will miss you so much. We are sorry that we cannot be at the celebration.

My condolences to you all. We will all miss Larry, who was a great friend to our parents for many years. And I like to think that he and Dad are enjoying a pint or a rugby game together in the great beyond. Love to all.
