Thanks for signing the guest book of my grandmother. She was a very lovely lady and everyone who knew her thought so highly of her. My grandmother, Laurette Rosenstrauch, was one of my best friends.

Thank you all for signing my grandmothers guest book. I actually didn't know they had this on here until I started playing around on the computer one day. Laurette, My grandmother, was a wonderful lady. She had no enemies...I don't think anyone could have ever disliked her. She and my grandfather were the one people I looked up to. They were everything I ever wanted to be in life. They both will be missed very much.

I was very sad when heard about Mrs.Rothschild Rosenstrauch's recent death. I had only met her in March of this year (2008) while on a genealogy research trip to Columbus to find the grave of one of several forgotten infants from our family. The records for this child are very poor, but thanks to all the family research Laurette did over the last few years of her life, she was able to confirm for us that the Rothschild infant (Elias Rothschild) who was born and died in 1863 and was buried in the Jewish section of the Historic Linwood Cemetery, was not a member of her Rothschild family, which meant he was most likely ours. With further research, I was able to confirm that he was my great-grandfather's 2nd older brother.

Thank You Laurette, we are forever in your debt,

Rest in Peace,
Thomas Francell

So glad we had the chance to meet Ms. Laurette before she died; she was so gracious and a wonderful Southern Lady, took us out to lunch at the Columbus Country Club.

I am so sorry to hear this. Laurette was such a lovely, gracious and smart woman. She, Larry and my parents were such good friends. So... so long to Mrs. Parsley.
