Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

I'm so sad to learn of Laurie's premature departure - she was a trailblazer from early years. In our Richmond youth she stood out as a one of a kind individual in her creativity, art and positive spirit. We grew up together from childhood to weddings and she taught me a great deal in that time, looking at life in her own extraordinary way. I feel honoured to have known her and to have been her sidekick for those years. She was such a cool chick. My condolences to her family, who must miss her terribly.

So sorry for her passing so soon, when we were just getting to know her. She had such a peaceful soul. We look forward on being your neighbours for years to come, David.

I was very sorry to hear about Laurie's passing. She was a dynamic, bright light in the world and I'm sure that right now she's riding Narco, with Babe in tow and Nubbins bouncing around at the horses' feet, thrilled to be on another adventure with his best pal Laurie. She will be missed by many.

Her love and compassion will be cherished forever. She will be missed tremendously by her family and especially her grand children.
