Richard Eugene Frame

FRAME, RICHARD EUGENE Aged 76, formerly of Jackson, passed away October 8, 2003 in Chandler, AZ. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Sue (Tittle) in March of 2003. He was honorably discharged from the Navy. He attended Jackson High School and Jackson Junior College where he played basketball. At Jackson Junior College he was the first person to jump the six foot high jump and score 30 points in a basketball game. Later he went to the University of Michigan where he also played basketball. In an intermural competition he threw 98 out of 100 free throws and the record still stands. He graduated with a degree in electrical engineering and worked at Consumers Power company for 34 years. He was also a bowler at Airport Lanes. He is survived by three daughters, Karen (Brent) Miller of Kalamazoo, MI, Lynn (Jim) Wright, and Nan (Mike) Mecsey, both of Chandler, AZ; five grandchildren, Richard, Sara, Amanda, Matt, and Tristan; brother-in-law, Jack (Rosemary) Tittle; sister-in-law, Nancy (Ken) Fisher, both formerly of Jackson; nieces, nephews and friends.
