Laurie Elizabeth Moses-Roeseler

Funeral service for Laurie Elizabeth Moses-Roeseler, 40, of Cushing will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2015, in the Dickie Allen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David O'Neal officiating. Burial will be held in the Cushing City Cemetery. Mrs. Roeseler passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015, in Cushing. She was born Dec. 1, 1974, in Henderson, Texas, to James W. Jr. and Kathleen Johnson Dawson. She lived most of her life in Cushing and was attending the Trawick Prespaterian Church, where she was soon to become a member. She graduated from Cushing High School in 1993. She attended Panola College before transferring to SFA, where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in psychology. She worked as a psychologist for TDC in Livingston and for the Burke Center in Lufkin. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, James W. Dawson Sr.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. VB Johnson. Survivors include her parents, James W. Jr. and Kathleen Dawson of Cushing, Texas; son, James Moses of Cushing, Texas; daughters, Katy Moses of Cushing, Texas, and Amanda Moses of Cushing, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, David and Tiffany Dawson of Nacogdoches, Texas; granddaughter, Arabella Faith Moses; grandmother, Edith Dawson of Cushing, Texas; and uncle and aunt, Jed and Debbie Dawson of Dallas, Texas.
