Lavelle Doyle Ashley, Age 92, of Clovis, NM passed away July 26, 2023, at Plains Regional Medical Center in Clovis New Mexico.
Lavelle was born May 19, 1931, in Hobbs, NM to Doyle Houston Ashley and Kelsie Travis Taylor.
He was the President of Clovis Concrete CO from 1957 to 1997 and then retired. Lavelle was also a member of Central Baptist Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife; Vera Ashley; they were married for 64 years, mother and father, and one sister.
Lavelle is survived by his two sons; Randy and wife, Traci Ashley, and Tim and wife, Celeste Ashley; one daughter; Toni and husband, Ronnie G. Autrey; one sister, twelve grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2023, at Steed-Todd Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at Central Baptist Church in Clovis, NM. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Steed-Todd Funeral Home and Crematory, 800 E Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico (575) 763-5541.

Mr. Ashley was a kind man. Our father worked for him until the day he died. He as his family were like family to our dad Charles Bryant. Our prayers and thoughts are with his family.
