Henry Gustave Lange was born in Bronx, New York, on August 5th, 1927, and passed away on December 27th, 2015, from complications of cancer. Henry is survived by his children Anita Loree, Laura Lange (Shawn Baxter), and Bob Lange (Lori), and six grandchildren: Nichole Loree Baruth (Matt), Eric Loree, and Joshua, Jacob, Andrew, and Alyssa Lange. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Ella. Henry graduated from Evander High School in Bronx, New York, and Pace Business University in New York. Henry served in the army from 1944-1945. Henry and his family moved to California in 1962. He started his career as an accountant and later worked himself up to Southern California District Manager for Vulcan Materials (formerly known as Conrock/Calmat) retiring in 1989. Henry was active at his church as an offering counter, food distributor for Lutheran Social Services, member of Living Way and Bethel Bible studies, Board of Stewardship member, and as a finance auditor. Funeral services will be held at Bethany Lutheran in Long Beach on January 2nd, 2016, at 11:00 am. Gifts can be given to the Bethany Lutheran Memorial Fund in the name of Henry Lange.
