LAWRENCE A. "LARRY"
Age 57, of Brookline, was unexpectedly called home by our Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2018, in the Dominican Republic surrounded by family. Beloved husband of Cathy Swearingen; loving father of Tara Tedeschi, Elizabeth and Erik (Aubriana) Daniel; stepfather of Kelsey (Patrick) Rousey, John (Mallory), and Casey Barley; cherished grandfather of Levi and Hayden; and Lar-Bear to James, Jaxson, and Madilyn; brother of Maureen (Ralph) Norman, Denise, John (Leslie), Martin (Leah) Daniel, Mary Elizabeth (Robert) Miller, Allison (Daniel) Carney, Theresa (David) Suehr; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John (Bud) and Mary Lou; and brother, Stephen Daniel. Larry was a Navy Veteran, (Go Navy beat Army) and an avid Pittsburgh sports fan, especially baseball. He was employed by Black & Veatch as a Market Manager. Larry will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him. NO VISITATION AS PER LARRY'S REQUEST. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Thursday, May 17, 2018, at 11 a.m. at The Log Church, 1540 Roseberry Street, Pgh., PA 15216. Interment following with full military honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial contribution in Larry's name to VA -PGH Healthcare, Voluntary Services (118-A), 1010 Delafield Rd., Pgh., PA 15215. God Bless Larry and your entire family. Got to know Larry few years ago at Westwood Golf Club on Tuesdays. Great guy and we shared lots of stories/laughs, some better than the others, about growing up in the city! Larry is now an angel looking after all of you!

I am so very sorry for your lose, my thoughts and Prayers are with you all. Larry was a great person and a joy to be around. I will always remember him walking down the halls at B&V with his phone playing slot machine noises saying Calling Kelly Calling Kelly great man could always make you laugh. You will be missed Larry Daniels.I was looking at some of the old pictures I had from B&V's golf outings and wanted to share one with you
