Dear Stephen, James and Gwyneth:
We are saddened by your loss. We will miss them greatly. They were grandparents to our children, Mark and Keith, in Turkey, and parents to us in many ways. We'd like to post a photo for your scrapbook of your "extended family" all over the world. Thank you for sharing your parents with us. We share your pain, and also your joy that we will all be reunited in the Lord's presence.

I was saddened to learn about the tragic passing of Tom and Gladys. I knew them many years ago at Braemar. They were so dedicated with their visits to my parents, Brenda and Cecil Simpson. My parents spoke of them fondly. Please accept my condolences.

Uncle Tom and Aunt Gladys were always the most gracious, hospitable and engergetic older couple I've ever known. They took me in when I moved to Edmonton and brought me to college...I will miss them -- and I'm sorry not to have spent more time with them as they are now an inspiration to my husband and me. Our deepest sympathies are with Gwenyth, James and Stephen & families. God bless.

Terry and I are so sadden to hear of the tragic news of the death of Tom and Gladys. It is heartbreaking to think of such a loss to the family including the loss of their daughter-in-law. Gladys and Tom were friends and colleagues with us in CBM. May God comfort and strengthen the family during this painful time.
With all our love and prayers,
Nigel Flook

We first met Tom and Gladys at a wedding in Mississauga, Ont. and then extended their hospitality to us( as they were so known for) a while later when we were visting in Edmonton. We of course knew of them for many years through my cousin who spoke of them and of your family often.
We offer you our condolances and pray for your family as you go through this difficult time.

It's very hard to express our feelings for Tom (Lawrence) and Gladys at this time, except to say that they were to us our second parents, and to our three girls, Uncle Tom and Aunt Gladys. Tom played with our kids when they were young, and we always enjoyed Gladys's famous Saskatoon pie. We will miss them dearly, but I know that we will see them again in God's Kingdom. Our hearts go out to Gwenyth, Stephen, and especially James and their families.

I will always remember Uncle Tom & Aunt Gladys as adventurous and fun loving. They were always eager for new experiences, new friends and new travels. They demonstrated God's love for and to all people and were willing to help wherever and whenever needed. Uncle Tom's laughter and practical jokes were infectious and I will remember and miss their smiles and warmth.
