At Union Larry lived next to me our freshman year and he was a great friend. Whenever I think of Union I think of Larry. I particularly remember convincing him to become a member of the Union Track team! Not many people know that. I am sorry we didn't stay in touch with each other, but he has been and always will be in my thoughts.

Dear Shari, Matt/Laura, and Keith,

We are so terribly sorry for your loss. We too feel we have all lost a great person in our lives. Rabbi Kurtz's words this afternoon were extremely touching. Larry was and will continue to be a blessing and inspiriation to us all.

While at times like these, we recognize that no words can really fully express our feelings, please know we are always there for you, and you are and will continue to be in your thoughts and prayers each and every day.

We were so very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. Phyllis always talked with such pride about him. His wife, children, sisters, brothers-in- law, niece and nephews and of course his beloved mother were all so tightly bound. We know he will be missed deeply.

Dear Gray Family,

On behalf all of us at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, I would like to extend my deepest sympathies and prayers. Larry, and his LLB&L colleagues, were terrific counselors and advocates, as well as generous supporters. Larry's contribution to our project to build the world's largest Ronald Mcdonald House in Streeterville was very significant and will be part of a great legacy he leaves. Our thoughts and prayers will remain with his family during this difficult period. We will be forever grateful for his passion for our mission.
