Dr Hardwicke was one if the best and most dedicated doctors to ever live. He was my doctor and many of my family members doctor. He was brilliant and caring and didn't pull any punches. He wrote down every word you told him during your exam. My whole family was upset when he retired and some have said a few times, "Where is Dr Hardwicke when you need him?" I also worked at Hendrick and watched Dr Hardwicke make rounds twice a day to check on his patients. Always carrying his well worn black bag. Loved and respected him. To Dr Hardwicke's family, I am so sorry for your loss.

Dr. Hardwicke was a wonderful physician and a fine man, the likes of which are seldom seen anymore. He cared for two of my grandparents for many years, and they both trusted and respected him immensely. My he rest in eternal
peace. Sending prayers of comfort for Lane, his brothers, and the rest of the Hardwicke family.

Prayers for peace and comfort to each of the family. I was his nurse for 20 + years. Dr Hardwick was kind and caring with each patient he had. What a privilege to serve this great physician. Sincerely Nancy Freeman
