I am deeply sadden by the passing of my Professor, Dr. Lawrence Howard. Throughout my graduate work at GSPIA, Dr. was not only a teacher, but my adopted father and mentor who was alway there to guide me through the difficult moments. I lack words to express how grateful I am for all what you did ensure my success, but to say THANK YOU FOR SERVING HUMANITY!!! Maurice Mongkuo

Betty and Larry were so good to me as a young Peace Corps volunteer in the Philippines in 1961-63! I remember them and their family with a grateful heart. They opened their home to me. And he provided great leadership and freedom.
He was a great man then, and what a full and productive life! He will be sorely missed.

To Mrs. Howard and family
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. I was on the Business School faculty for most of the time that he was at Pitt. He always offered encouragement and good advice whenever we talked. We were also Alpha Brothers. He will be greatly missed.
