Lawrence Johnson Obituary
Born on November 4, 1960, in Arlington, Texas, Larry was the son of Darrell Johnson and Alice Joan Danahy. He spent his formative years in Arlington and graduated from Sam Houston High School with the Class of 1979.
Larry had a deep passion for music and found joy in playing the guitar. His love for music brought comfort to those around him and served as a meaningful form of expression throughout his life.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Katherine Johnson; his daughters Jessica Black and her husband Robert, Jennifer Finnegan and her husband Jason, and Julia Kirk. He also leaves behind his grandchildren: Olivia, Charlie, Liliann, Maddox, Ainsley, Katie, Fiona, and Ryan Eoin.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Johnson, and his mother, Alice Joan Danahy.
A memorial service to honor Larry's life will be held on September 13, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Grace Church Frisco, located at 8440 Grace St., Frisco, TX.
Larry's memory will live on through the music he cherished and the family who loved him. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
