Larry and I meet over 50 years ago. I was tiring to learn carpentry and calling around for a job as an apprentice and finally got hired at Clark Brothers Construction, Larry was one of the carpenters. Little did I know that I would end up with a friend for life . Larry and I were co workers, room mates in Winchester, we went to Ireland and St Martin together, he helped me build two buildings on property I had in Maine, we went to each others weddings , shared great times camping and going to music festivals. He was allays there for me. Without a doubt he was one of the most stand up people I have ever known, If he love you he let you know and he told me often, I am blessed to have had him in my life and will miss him the rest of my days. I love you brother, happy trails. Bob Drown

Larry was my good friend for most of my adult life, somewhere around 45 years, give or take. I've had more than my share of Larry adventures through those years, but I can't really talk about any of that right now, because it makes me too sad, especially knowing there won't be any more of those moments along the way.
What I talk about is what made Larry so special to me. Larry was the ultimate version of what you see is what you get. He never pretended to be anything other than who he was. He could be a cave man at times, and often wasn't politically correct, but it was never in a mean or malicious way. He lived his life on those terms: if that wasn't good enough for you, then it was time for you to move on.
He was often a larger than life guy with a unique gift to grab the moment and make it special. You experienced things that never would have happened if Larry wasn't there. Things would would remember and talk about in the years to come. There were times he was like the pied piper, leading his merry band of followers on a magical mystery tour to who knows where. It was his gift to you, a memory to cherish. He often acted like a tough guy, but beneath it all, he was a loyal friend, with a big heart and a generous spirit. For all of this, the good, the bad, and the ugly, is why I loved Larry, and will miss him so much.

I hired Larry to complete my team at Home Depot. It was always hard work but Larry always found some time to have fun on the job. He will truly be missed. I am so sorry your loss, my condolence to the family

I had the pleasure of having Larry on my merchandising team at the Marlboro Home Depot. I managed the team for a few years there... I looked forward to working with Larry every day. He had a strong presence amongst his peers and the rest of the store. The one thing I loved about Larry is that he always told it like it was no matter how good or how bad.. He was an honest person and that's what I admired about him the most.... I will miss Larry and I send my condolences to his family and loved ones.

Sincerely
Justin Hudon

I met Larry in 1978 when we lived in Wakefield. Although he was playfully referred to as "The Lamp" for his party antics I think he should be remembered as "The Lamp" because he brighten up a room with his great personality and fun stories. He later became my Brother in Law and made my sister Kim very happy. We will miss you Lar. Love Karen.
