Lawrence Liszewski Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Aug. 23 to Sep. 3, 2023.
LISZEWSKI,
DR. LAWRENCE J.
SUTTONS BAY, MI
It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Lawrence Joseph Liszewski (Larry). He passed away suddenly but peacefully with his wife at his side in Scottsdale, AZ on March 25, 2023.
A dedicated and talented physician he will be remembered for the kind, compassionate, and caring way he treated patients during his 48 years in medical practice.
Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He loved spending time in nature exploring trails, rivers, and the countless dirt roads he discovered in Leelanau County. He led us to so many beautiful places.
His spirit, passion, and sense of adventure will be missed by all those that knew him. Especially his wife Lorraine, sons Jeff (Beth) of Grand Rapids, MI and Kevin of Scottsdale, AZ. along with his five grandchildren Jackson, Megan, Erin, Kade, and Luke.
A memorial service was held at St Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Suttons Bay, MI on Sunday July 9, 2023.
Go Lions…Go Tigers… but most importantly GO GREEN!
A life well lived.

A kind and caring physician he was to me for several years while I lived in Michigan. The last time I saw him he was closing his office to make a move and that was the last time - but he was a GOOD DOC!!
