I never met Dr. Lougheed but I have met his son, Matthew. From all the other posts here, I can tell he was a great doctor. From knowing Matt, I can tell he was a great dad as well.

Dr Lougheed you will be missed. As a young boy your home was a sanctuary for me and your carport the Montreal Forum- where your son Stephen and i won countless Stanley Cups. You inspired me to play ice hockey and you were a friend and colleague to my father. My thoughts are with the Lougheed family
