Lawrence Love Obituary
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years Helen Love, sons, Simon Love (Laura), Roy Love ( Kathy), daughters, Angel Kay (Ricky), Amanda Mercer (Jimmy). Grandchildren, Ashley, Bessie, Brandy, Renee, J.R., Chris, Austin, Lindsey, Scotty, Cameron and Brandon. Several Great Grandchildren: Kiara, Junior, Michael, Jayden, Josh, Jaiden, Trevin, Kaleb, and Kynleigh. Brother Bull Claxton (Ernestine), Sister Marie Miller (Bobby). Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday February 27, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel 4315 North Main Street Jacksonville . The funeral service will be Friday February 28th, 2014 at 1:00 pm. At Hardage-Giddens Main Street Chapel with the Rev. Buddy Wimberly officiating. Burial will follow in the Ferriera Cemetery on Starratt Road.

Helen,
Just want to say that everything was very well done. With all the stress that you were under you did a great job and I think he would have ben very proud to say that you and all of the kids did just what he was all about. Lawrence and you to have really done so much for other people as long as I can remember, so keep your chin up and remember all the good times and thank god that you had the years that you had together. You were a good wife, he was a good husband and y'all had 4 wonderful children. There are not very many people today that can say that they have a close net family as you do. You will always be my Aunt and if you ever need anything please remember that I am only a phone call away. I know it's very hard right now but as time goes on it will get a little easier and one day he will meet you with arms wide open to welcome you into that glory land. You, Simon, Roy, Angel and Amanda have each other to lean on so between each other and the rest of the family and friend and most of all The Lord y'all will get through it all because HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH EVERYTHING.

Wish I could be there with you all in your time of need. Such a sweet and wonderful man Lawrence was. He had a truly genuine soul and I always loved talking with him. RIP Uncle Lawrence, I'm sure God is smiling.
