I am so incredibly sorry. Lawrence and I had developed a strong friendship over the last few years and he always made me laugh or made me feel better when I was down. His passing has left a huge void. I will miss him completely.

I was very sad to hear of SGT Poremski's untimely passing. I knew him as a soldier in A Company 2-108th Infantry Battalion of the NY Army National Guard. I was one of his company commanders. Sgt Poremski's dedication to his unit, his fellow soldiers and to the Army was always outstanding. He had a great "can do " positive attitude. No matter how difficult the task or challenging the circumstances might have been, he always did his duty. He also made being in the Army a lot of fun, with his usual greeting to me of "Hey Sir! " he always put a smile on my face every time I saw him at work. His family should be very proud of his service to his country. I am indeed fortunate to say that I had the honor to know him. He will be missed by all.

He was in/out of our home for years while he was growing up along with Jeremy and the other kids in his class. He was ALWAYS a good kid,and I know, a wonderful man.

We were devastated by the news of Lawrence's untimely death. Lawrence was a big part of our family for many years. We really enjoyed his happy-go-lucky spirit.
When he went to Iraq, we worried every minute of every day. That time really changed all our lives. We're sorry for his little boy and hope he inherited his Dad's spirit. Our sympathy to his family.

There is an Irish quotation, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; love, leaves a memory no one can steal." I hope that your journey through grief is a brief one and that the love of God embraces you during these difficult times. Jeff, you and your family are left with the task of keeping your brother's spirit alive as you impart your memories of him to his son. The memory which stays in the heart never dies.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. Lawrence was a great guy that made me laugh everytime I saw him. I'll never forget his sense of humor and his kind heart, which he sometimes wouldn't admit to having, but his friends knew better. He had a very caring heart and would do anything to help out his friends.

It's hard to see a friend pass away. I remember going to school with him. He was a good person who had good character. He was known by the nickname, Skippy.. He will be truly missed by all that knew him and loved him. May God bless the entire family in this time of mourning. Lawrence, I hope someday we can meet up again my dear friend...
