ULRICH, Lawrence Lawrence Ulrich was born in Mayerthorpe, AB on May 3, 1943 and died very unexpectedly and peacefully at home in Mayerthorpe on Monday, January 26, 2009. Lawrence will always be loved, remembered and never forgotten by his brother, Eddie (Judy) and sister, Ruth, all of Mayerthorpe; special niece and nephew, Rhonda Ulrich and Parry (Lisa) Arnell; great-nephews, Taylor and Parker. Predeceased by mom, Martha (1989) and dad, Ben (1971).Lawrence was a participator in his community. He was a track announcer for the stock car races and active in the Mayerthorpe County Cruisers. Lawrence was a friend to all. Most important He loved and was loved. Rest in Peace Lawrence. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Lawrences Life will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 2:00 p.m. at Mayerthorpe Community Legion, Mayerthorpe. Cremation in the Park Memorial Crematorium. Family inurnment in Mayerthorpe Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Mayerthorpe Arena Building Program, Box 420, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0. I am so sorry to hear of Lawrence's passing. I've enjoyed many coffee discussions with Lawrence. He was always very good to me and especially after my parents passing. He was always willing to lend a hand and advice. I was lucky to call him a friend.
