What a difficult time losing a father can be. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Remembering a kind gentleman from the Chantilly National Retired Men's League. Larry was a delight to know.

'Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon him. Amen.'

Mr. Vogel, a BRIGHT light in our neighborhood is now an ANGEL in Heaven! I will miss your emails (last one received in October) and your presence in the cul-de-sac. I truly adored you. In your honor, I will put out the huge German cookie bin you gave us for Christmas years ago for decoration, as we all remember an energetic, honorable, adorable, loving Man! To Ron and Jim, et. al., my thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Vogel EXEMPLIFIED The Greatest Generation. His flag is at half-staff, as it should be, and I thank you, Ron, for letting us who do not get the paper, know what happened. Fly like Peter Pan, with an ear-to-ear grin, and we shall see you again, but not yet. With much love,

Larry: With this Candle Light, may the Lord and his Angels watch over you day and night. May God Bless You. You knew how to put up a fight. Now that you are in your resting place, everything is going to be alright.

Dad Larry's light will forever shine bright in my heart.

I will miss my dear Uncle Lawrie (his late wife Mickey was my dad's sister). He was an impressive and kind man. I am so thankful I got to see him less than a month ago when I came to visit for Thanksgiving. He will be missed by so many.

My deepest sympathy to Ron and Jimmy and all their children. Larry lived a full life and I have many fond memories of both Larry and Mickey especially at this time of the year...Christmas shared with his family and mine over many years.
