Lawrence "Larry" M. Ward, age 70, of Romeoville, IL, passed away on November 19, 2023. Larry was born on May 14, 1953, in Evanston, IL, to the late Mary Love (Flynn) and was raised by Samuel Love. He was preceded in death by his sister, Maryellen Ward.

Larry leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Annetta Ward (Sholar); his son, Jason Ward, and daughter-in-law, April Ward (Halverson); his son, John Ward; and his grandchildren, Arianne Maxwell, Kyle Ward, and Aubrey Ward.

Larry had a successful career spanning over 30 years as a Quality Assurance Manager. He worked extensively with government contracts and private sector projects, leaving a lasting impact in his field.

Outside of work, Larry had a passion for watching drag racing and TV action dramas. Additionally, he had an unwavering fascination with flight, always captivated by the wonder of aviation.

A graduate of Proviso East High School, Larry valued education and believed in the power of learning.

Larry will be remembered as having an incredible sense of humor, as a dedicated professional, and someone who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A ceremony to honor Larry's life will be held in early 2024. Details will be announced at a later date. Please join us in celebrating Larry's life and sharing memories of his remarkable journey.
