Lawrence A. Watkins OMM CD January 1934 - May 2014 Larry peacefully closed his eyes and left us on May 13, 2014 with his loving wife and soul mate Lorna holding his hand. Missing him are his children, Laurie (Allen) Will (Barbara) Lyle (Karen), seven wonderful grandchildren, two adorable great grandchildren and one in our hearts.

Larry made a significant contribution to the Canadian Reserve Army where he earned the respect of colleges and made life long friends around the world. His service and dedication to the military spanned over 54 years and continued to serve as the chairman of the 12 Svc Bn Museum. He was extremely proud to be a Canadian. In retirement Larry traveled the country enjoying his motor home and his RV lifestyle and friends. His exceptional memory and passion for history, music, travel and archaeology could always be counted on for lively discussions and enlightenment.

Celebration of Larry's life is to be held at Victory Memorial Park, 14831 - 28 Ave Surrey BC on May 30th at 11:00 AM www.dignitymemorial.ca No Flowers by request -The family would ask in lieu of flowers for those who wish, a donation to your charity of choice be made in Larry's name.
