Lawrence J. Weinstein

I worked with Larry for nearly 10 years at Popular Photography and I am proud to say we became quite close during that time frame. When he celebrated his 65th birthday I was honored to join him and several of his children for lunch ( which he insisted to pay for). We lunched many times together especially at his beloved Hotel Edison. His simple way of life and the joy and love he had for his entire family was often discussed with great pride. He once told me I was an "adopted" member of his family which touched me deeply. We kept in touch for years after I left Pop Photo but didn't in recent years I'm sorry to say. He will always hold a special place in my heart and always remember "cash is king"
