Peacefully at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Lucille Wight (1985) and Joan Wight (2021). Loving father of Charlie Wight (Katherine) and Lynn (Stephen Ling). Cherished Granddad of Ethan, Candace (Nick), Sara (Travis) and Ryan. Great granddad of Murphy. Fondly remembered by his stepchildren, Greg Ford (Debbie), and Susan (Doug Pestill) and their families. Lawrence will be missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thanks to Sharon Aldred for her wonderful care and support and to the Dr's and staff on the ICU and MACU floors at Southlake Regional Health Centre. Visitation will be held at the M.W. Becker Funeral Home, 490 The Queensway South, Keswick on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. followed by a Private Funeral Service (by invitation only) in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date.
