The trips to Mexico as Larry, Dale B and Ralph developed the important Beck relations with locals in Mexico City and Chihuahua, come to mind with a giggle and smile. Always concerned about me, the wife and kiddos, living in another country. You can’t buy that kind of love and care. Their concern and mentoring paved the way for the Beck International de Mexico we are able to brag on today! GREAT MEN!

I was a lucky kid who grew up in Nashville, Tennessee. I was especially fortunate to have Larry Wilson and his brothers, Estill and Buford, as my next door neighbors for 20 years. They treated me like their little brother as I am 16 months younger than the twin brothers. They influenced me to follow in their foot-steps. Just like them I graduated from MBA and Vanderbilt. I was in the same fraternities in high school and college because of their influence. I studied engineering and was in the Naval ROTC because of them. I will miss Larry as he was one of my favorite people I have met during my lifetime. My deepest sympathies to Nancy and their family and to Estill, who is still like a brother to me.

Nancy, Ralph and I send our thoughts and prayers to you and your family at this sad time in your and their lives. I remember Larry so well in our first days at Vanderbilt. He and Estill were among the first guys I met on campus, and the last time we had a visit with both of you was at our Quinq reunion in 2007. Nancy and Ralph Toon

Mr. Wilson, as I called him was a "class act". Always kind, caring and treated everyone with respect. From the President of Beck to the receptionist. What a terrible loss to this world. Mr. Wilson, you will always be in my heart. God Bless this incredible human being. You will be sorely missed. Sincerely, Patty

Mr. Wilson was a true example of integrity and compassion. I don't recall ever seeing him upset with anyone. Always very friendly and ready for a hug. He will be truly missed.

Joe Hutchison, Henry Beck, Roy Kite, and now Larry Wilson, the Last of the Mohicans that revolutionized an era in construction. Few people ever knew how many projects these individuals managed at the same time. My father really liked and trusted Larry and the times that I got to spend with Larry - he was as much a father figure, as he was a friend to me. Kick back and go have a "toddy" w/ the boys Larry, they are waiting for you.

What a man !! Rarely did I ever see him without a smile. Our school years together are very memorable. Part of my loss is that the last time we visited was at a school reunion too many years ago. Deep condolences to the family.

If Webster needed an example for the definition of "Gentleman", it should say, see Larry Wilson. For over 25 years I had the privilege of working with Larry. I would describe him as a man of upmost integrity. He treated every one with respect and fairness. People who worked for him never feared of making a mistake, because they knew if they did, they would find that Larry would want them to learn and do better the next time. He believed in the best of people and cared for them even after they had left the organization. Like many of my colleagues, we were honored to call him "my friend". He will be missed. Jerry Cooper

Larry Wilson was one of my favorite humans on the planet. He was kind, curious, interesting, and interested in everything and everybody. He and Nancy were like second parents to me, after my mom died and my dad was getting older. Peter and I took many wonderful hunting trips with Larry and Nancy to Big Red Oak Plantation with the George Peococks. We also attended countless company picnics and Beck functions together though the years. Larry took me under his wing in recent years, always checking in with me to see how I was doing. We would have great chats about life, usually in the parking lot at Brook Hollow, his soft southern accent calming me with every word. I adored Larry and will miss him greatly. My heart goes out to all the Wilsons on this tremendous loss for their family.
