Dear family of Layne, your husband was one of my first art student that lasted a life time. I followed his career and even taught with him at Lehi High school! I met your daughter and even talked to her at the car show, she wanted a Mustang and got it! He was very dear to me, he even rode over to Lehi to visit me. I'm sorry he is gone, but I'm sure he is relieved to be free of his sickness. Sencerly a friend and art teacher.....Mary Ann Judd Johnson

Layne was one of mine and my younger sister's best friends growing up. We spent so much time even as teenagers and young adults going to the park to swing and play on the slides. The goofy laughter and fun we shared was the best of times. So many of the fondest memories of this man will always be cherished!! Love this great man and his family! My prayers and condolences are with you and your family Shanna.

I am so sorry for your loss. I absolutely loved Layne and all the joy he brought to life. He was always so nice to me and happy to be around. His smile was everything. I will think about him fondly. Just know that I still think of Dorothy all the time and am sure it was a happy reunion between mother and son.My thought are with the Mcclure family.

Layne is one of the original 25 who started kindergarten together and ended 12th grade together. He was one of my best friends growing up. Our families spent so much time together. He is a brave, strong, funny, and compassionate man who will always hold a special place in my heart as well as the hearts of the entire Page family. Prayers and peace surround you and your family Shanna.
