Leandro and I were friends since college at Southern Illinois University. We talked often and every year on our birthdays. He was my very dear friend. My sympathies to his family.

Leandro
You were my best friend in High School
I am so grateful that we reconnected for a number of years until your passing .
I know you are in Heaven right now and our deep friendship continues as I feel your presence
I will see you on the other side at the right time. Greet Anita and all the others we shared in common on this side
Saludos y abrazos mi querido amigo

Dear "cousin" Leandro,
My heart sank when I saw your name on this obituary page. I felt so sad of not having a chance to visit you after you retired from the OED. I retired early in March 2024 because I was ill, too!
You were kind and supportive of me when we worked together at the OED's North Portland location. I laughed loudly each time you said good morning in Vietnamese to me during the work week.
You were a very good person, a good caring co-worker to me for all the years we worked together. I miss you already! Rest in peace!
