I'll miss seeing him walk up and down the isle of our Chapel at Notre Dame du Lac Assisted Living, joking with our Residents, as he directed both the Trinity Big Band and the Greendale Retired Men's Club Chorus. What a character! He will be missed by all of us.

Always enjoyed talking with your dad. He was a delight to all. It was wonderful to have him come out to Sterling to sing to the children for St. Patrick's Day.
He will be greatly missed.

I only had the genuine pleasure of knowing Lee for a short while. I met him at the Greendale Retirement Club. He has to be one of the most friendly and sincere men I have ever met. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences. He will be greatly missed, but we all know that he now has a front row seat in Heaven.
RIP Lee

To the Bartlett Family,
I was very sad to learn of Dr. Bartlett's passing. I have many memories from childhood of Dr. Bartlett. The one that most specifically stands out is him handing out apples for Halloween. Every year we would try to convince our parents that we should not be allowed to have an apple because it was not packaged, however, because we all knew who was handing them out, my mother would pack that in our lunch the next day as our Halloween treat. Dr. Bartlett was always interested in what the kids in the neighborhood were doing or what was going on in school. He was such a kind person, and it was always nice to see him even after we moved from the street.
May the memories of your father/grandfather help you through this difficult time.

I can't help but put a smile on my face when I think of the few occassions when I met Mr. Bartlett. The word "charming" resonates with me. I know there is so much more than that as I recognize the wonderful legacy he left within his daughter, Anne, and her children...his sense of humor, his mastery of education, his passion of music, his joy of life and his love of family...Most certainly a life well and abundently lived..my most heartfelt sympathies...Peace

Dear Bucky, Ann & Family,
It is with great sadness that I heard of Lee's passing. Being born on the same day and spending our childhood's together right through college we shared so many memories together. His yearly vists were a wonderful chance to share those memories. We often related the phrase..."There are few friends in the jungle"... from Tarzan. Lee was truly a friend. Our prayers and thoughts are with you at this time.

Lee was such a Blessing to my Dad (Ted Hencinski) as part of the Greendale Retired Men's Club and in Lee's devotion to visiting my Dad in the nursing home after Dad's stroke. His kindness to keep the music alive in Dad meant more than words can express. "The song may have ended, but the melody lingers on..." Hooray for a life well lived!

My condolences to Lee's family and to everyone he touched. While it felt like he was my personal cheer leader, it's clear he served that way for many. His performances at the Worcester Senior Center brought great joy and we will remember him always. Amy Waters, Director

To the Bartlett family,
Growing up on Calumet Ave, the Bartlett's were a fixture on the street. Carrie Howard and I used to hang out quite a bit at their home and enjoyed every moment of it. Even after MAry's death, Mr. Bartlett was the happiest guy around every time you saw him. He definatley took each moment in and thought of it as a gift.
May God bless him and welcome him into the kingdom of Heaven.

Lee and family, I am very happy to have met your Dad at WCC that one time. He reminded me of my grandmother who lived until she was 102. There is something special about those who can maintain his or her independent lifestyle until the very end. Your Dad was like that and God Bless him.
