My father and my Uncle Lee died on the same day although many years apart. Lee was always a man of integrity, gentility, humility and wisdom. He is missed.

From the time I met Lee in Buhl the most remarkable feature of his personality was his wit, his ability to turn any situation into a touch of humor. Particularly I recall my disgrace before the Berlin family when in the Berlin living room Lee's soto voce comment about the neighbor's gift of wine for the reception after Ma Berlin's funeral caused me to explode into laughter. He kept a straight face and I could not contain my laughter. People who laugh and can make others laugh are contributors and he will be missed. In a word, they save the day for everyone around them with no thought to themselves. The sisters of the Georgetown Visitation School Convent would like you to know that you and Lee are in their prayers. We all send you and Judd our love.

My Uncle Lee was a great man, a kind man, a humble man. He was known for his hard work, his innovative ideas, his sense of humor, his love of the outdoors and much more. We are all blessed to have had him in our lives. May we walk with integrity and humility as we remember him.
