Lee Eastman Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on May 5, 2015.
Lee Robert Eastman passed away on May 4th after a seven year battle with cancer.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Anna Eastman of Winslow, Arizona and of Oxnard, California. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Margaret "Peggy" of Brentwood, California; son, Ronald and his wife Chari, of The Woodlands, Texas; daughter, Lori Greene and her husband Tom, of Santa Clara California; as well as four grandchildren: Ian, Ryan, Nicole and Jaclyn.

Lee was born and raised in Winslow, Arizona, graduating from Winslow High School in 1950. Lee served in the USAF SAC assisting with in-flight refueling, and he played on the air force basketball team.

Lee graduated from Arizona State College at Flagstaff (now Northern Arizona University) and he received his Master's Degree and teaching credentials from Colorado State College at Greeley, Colorado (now the University of Northern Colorado). Lee spent over 40 years as an educator in Arizona and in California.

Lee and Peggy made their home in Palmdale, California where Lee quietly served and blessed many people at his home, work, church and Y's Men's club. Lee enjoyed carpentry and created many beautiful objects which are still being enjoyed by many friends and family.

After retirement Lee and Peggy traveled throughout the world and celebrated the activities of their grandchildren. They made their home in Brentwood, California where Lee enjoyed playing billiards. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

At Lee's request, no service will be held.
